LOST VELVET are carving a space between post-rock atmosphere, shoegaze haze, and industrial unease with a sound that feels vast, intimate, and slightly unhinged. They release their debut album Dark Cells on Friday 4th September, led by their brand-new single and video, Right Back, which is out now. Check out the video here:
Since emerging in 2025, the band have drawn strong early attention, including support from BBC Introducing across multiple regions. Their work moves between crushed, grunge-heavy weight and slower, drifting passages threaded with industrial undertones.
Their debut album Dark Cells was mixed by Michael Patterson (Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Puscifer) and balances heaviness with restraint, pairing distorted guitars, subtle electronics, and hazy vocals. The band say: “’Dark Cells’ was built in fragments over long periods of isolation, burnout and reflection. Shaped by our shared love of nostalgia, old cinema, and the pull between suspense and restraint, we wanted the album to feel like a haunting, dreamlike portal.”
LOST VELVET close this chapter with a record that lingers long after it ends.
