Scottish alt-rock crew STAY FOR TOMORROW will release their forthcoming album, 'When Hope’s Gone', arriving Friday September 25th. The record is jam packed with a host of singles, including their new track ‘The Fallout’. With the band climbing high, we exclusively asked them for a track by track breakdown of the album:

“"In The Way" is a relentless expression of frustration and drive, capturing the tension between ambition and resistance. Every line hits with precision, balancing aggression with determination. The song demands movement, urging listeners to make a choice: commit to the fight or step aside."

“Restart” is an empowering anthem about breaking free from the confines of everyday life and emotional struggle. It captures a longing to escape routine and rediscover direction, resonating with anyone feeling stuck. The song offers a hopeful message of transformation, encouraging listeners to take control and begin again."

“Nonsense” follows breaking free from someone who twisted perspectives, shifted blame and controlled your mind like a puppet. Framed as a serpentine influence feeding “nonsense,” the track captures the moment of clarity, cutting the strings, rejecting false power and burying the manipulation for good.

“Villains” is an intoxicating track that dares you to embrace the darker side within. Blending dark energy with a contagious rhythm, it captures the allure of stepping into a more destructive role. The song explores the seductive thrill of embracing a villainous side, where power, control, and malice become irresistible.

“Erase Me” is a fierce anthem of defiance that dares you to try and forget. Blending raw emotion with relentless determination, the song follows a protagonist refusing to be cut from another’s story. It captures the thrill of revenge and the certainty that some memories can never truly be erased.

“Always You”, as the name suggests, hones in on the feeling of instant infatuation and pure emotional certainty when you meet ‘the one’. We wanted to make a high energy track that will strike a chord with anyone who has ever experienced the rush of falling in love.

“Crushing Down” is a hard hitting rock song to not only voice unspoken struggles but to also express how complex these struggles can be. We also wanted it to be a platform for people to scream out in anguish alongside us.

“No Secret” is a dark, empowering track about breaking free from a destructive influence symbolised as the devil sitting on the shoulder. Framed as a voice whispering into the ear, it unravels control disguised as guidance, capturing the moment of clarity where that influence is recognised, rejected, and buried for good.


“Memories” is a striking exploration of love used to mask deeper pain. Blending vulnerability with emotional intensity, it follows a relationship that feels powerful and addictive, built on shared memories that refuse to fade. It captures the need to hold on to something that makes you feel unstoppable, even as it breaks you down.

“Breathe” is a stirring power ballad about trusting in the promise of tomorrow. It celebrates resilience and gently reminds us that hope can be found amid chaos. Its delicate momentum builds to a powerful climax, inviting listeners to shed doubt and embrace the strength of connection.

“Pick Me Up” is a journey into longing and the irresistible allure of toxic temptation. Its lyrics weave a poignant narrative of a protagonist locked in a relentless battle with inner demons, torn between the comfort of a toxic embrace and the knowledge that it leads only to destruction.


“The Fallout” explores the aftermath of control and conditioning, where devotion turns into destruction and identity is shaped by outside forces.
