PREVIEW: Slayer - Finsbury Park, London UK July 6th 2025

 

Slayer is one of the most iconic thrash metal bands and has defined the genre for over four decades. To celebrate their momentous, long-spanning career, they have announced two massive UK headline shows in Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields on July 3rd and London’s Finsbury Park on July 6th. Not only do these two songs mark their biggest UK shows, but they are also the only headline shows they will play in Europe, and they mark the first time in six years that they have performed in the UK!

Thrash metal royalty Anthrax will join the celebrations and make it an event not to be missed by thrash lovers. They are bound to bring lots of energy and huge mosh pits, especially with the likes of classic tracks ‘Caught In A Mosh’, ‘Madhouse’ and ‘Got The Time’!

Rising death metal Danish newcomers Neckbreakker complete the insane line-up; having only formed in 2020, they have already earned a reputation for their blistering live shows, which is especially impressive as they only have their debut album 2024’s ‘Within The Viscera’ under their belts, so they are worth checking out and keeping an eye on!
