  Primarily known for their nostalgic throwback sound of original, traditional Heavy Metal, Corners of Sanctuary (COS) threw their hats into the cover song arena for the first time last year with the band's renditions of several classic Def Leppard hits. Earlier this year, COS followed up with their version of Judas Priest's hit "Breaking the Law." With the group's recent signing to SODEH Records, the partnering has compiled the tracks all together, along with the addition of two new cover songs, and will be releasing a digital-only EP, "Taking Cover" this month. "Taking Cover" will include "Rock of Ages," "Mirror, Mirror," the aforementioned "Breaking the Law," "Bringing on the Heartbreak," and COS-ified versions of The Osmonds' "Crazy Horses" and Warrant's "Inside Out."   Death Cult returns. The storied post-punk progenitor to The Cult will headline a one-off 12-date tour across the UK and Ireland throughout November 2023, including many venues where they made their live debut as a band. The evening, while centered around Death Cult and their eponymous EPs, will boast a setlist that spans the three phases of the band, from Southern Death Cult, to Death Cult, and The Cult’s first two albums: Dreamtime (1984) and Love (1985).   British independent band WEAK13 have teamed up with producer and composer The Gideon Complex to produce the track Go Away (Nada Remix), released on August 13th 2023 via Sliptrick Records. The Gideon Complex has reimagined the energetic WEAK13 song Go Away with the 'Nada Remix'. The remix injects new life into the beloved original and paints an electro cyberpunk shell resulting in a very modern sounding version not too dissimilar to the work of artists like Nine Inch Nails and Aphex Twin. The music video for Go Away (Nada Remix) (featuring WEAK13 frontman Nick J Townsend) is a slight nod to the classic John Carpenter sci-fi film 'They Live'.
